About me:
Thank you for visiting my website, I'm extremely grateful that you have either seen some of my work on coaching via any of the social media outlets or that you have searched for something specific about coaching and you landed here. Either way thanks for dropping in and I hope I can convince you to stay.
I suppose its best give you some background if you have stumbled across this site, if you have seen some of my work before chances are you will know most of what I'm about to tell you, but here goes anyway:
My name is Carl Norman and I’m a Personal Development Coach specializing in Motivational Speaking, Resilience Coaching and Confidence Building. I learned at a very early age that I enjoyed listening to people’s stories and making suggestions based on what I was told and then thinking about the best way to respond, this was normally with more questions. As I've aged I have experienced many things that have helped me create my own stories and I have shared them with others but always with a message attached on how to be a better human being.
With this in mind I have created something called Be Better, this is a program that was deigned to help individuals and allows me to speak to communities and businesses about how they can just be better at certain things associated with lifestyle instead of trying to be perfect all of the time and being disappointed with certain outcomes.
My methods are based on experience, they are not unique, you may have even implemented some of the ideas I will share with you, I believe that the delivery may be different though and you may resonate with some of the things I will share with you.
Here’s a short resume of my personal and professional life:
Born to Pat and Kenny Norman on the 9th of May 1967Lived in Sandon Rd, Walton, Liverpool UK till I was 13 years of age and then moved up to Manorbier Crescent where my mum still lives now
Attended St Mary’s Infant School
Attended Northcote Junior Primary School
Attended Liverpool Collegiate Senior School
Left school with nothing but a couple of mediocre exam results in English and History
Rejected by the British Army at 16 years of age as I was so small and skinny and told to come back when I had more life experience, even though I had 3 years experience in the Combined Cadet Force in school (I thought I was a catch….)
Apprentice Mechanic (did two years in motor vehicle engineering at Riversdale college but didn’t like getting my hands dirty so didn’t do the final year)
Chef, worked for Unigate Dairies in Long Lane Aintree until I moved to London and completed my 706-1 and 706-2 at a restaurant called Fredricks in Camden Passage in Islington
Got my Black Belt in Ju Jitsu at the age of 19 so went to work for the WJJF (World Ju Jitsu Federation for a few years until I met Kerri my wife and we started our own business selling ladies fashion on the markets in and around Liverpool

NEXT CHAPTER
Finding ourselves involved with the current pandemic which has closed most of the world down I've looked at how I can shift my own mindset to help others deal with theirs based on my experience and knowledge so this is where I currently find myself. The plan moving forward is create programs to help others develop personal development There will be no fluff with my coaching, what you see is what you get, I will hold you accountable on every level depending what programs you enroll on. I look forward to seeing you on the inside
Best wishes.
Carl
