Is it time??

I've set myself a little challenge, after seeing myself in a exercise video the other day I noticed Id lost a little definition, to be honest I’ve had this chest infection for the last couple of weeks and struggled to shake it off but its not until you see yourself in a picture or video that you notice these things...

have you had that too??…

So with that in mind I've REALLY changed things around the last few days with regards my eating habits!

My sleep is good!!

Stress levels are also good but my carb intake was slightly excessive which can cause fat to be stored on the stomach (which is where I noticed mine) I think my insulin levels where slightly high although I never took a glucose test.

SO this is what I did...

I've increased fats and proteins and upped my fish oils…the results after just two days are pretty impressive, I feel like I have way more energy and a clear head, my productivity over the last two days have been INCREDIBLE!!!...and the one biggest thing I can see after just TWO days is that my tummy seems a lot less bloated!! BONUS!!
  • I ate more oily fish
  • Included avocado in my smoothy drinks
  • Took more Coconut Oil each day (great for losing fat by the way)
 
The moral of the story is that if you have been doing one thing and you have been doing it for a while then maybe you need to change your plans, even the great Einstein said it so it must be true!!
 
But seriously..
 
Did you know that if you consume too many refined carbs it could affect insulin? We actually NEED the production of this but if we consistently eat sugary foods or fast acting carbohydrates then we could actually become what’s called insulin resistant.   
 
Which can lead to diabetes!
 
Not great huh!
 
My advice to you would be to take notice of the foods you eat and to get some balance, I can obviously show you the exact way to do this and how to banish those bloating feelings and reduce the size of the love handles but I suppose you have to want to do that yourself first.
